My nonfiction essay, Tatort (German for “Crime Scene”), was included in the Descansos Anthology by Darkhouse Books.
“Descansos” is the name for those roadside monuments you see, commemorating a life ended abruptly. The Descansos anthology is a diverse group of works joined by the themes of love and grief, of sudden and unexpected changes that take your life to places you never planned to go. Each piece is short enough to be read quickly, and deep enough to ensure you will digest it slowly.
