Just…wow!
The wonderful folks at Darkhouse Books have e-mailed me to say that “Tatort” (which appeared in the Descansos Anthology this past summer) is one of their nominees for the Pushcart Prize!
That’s a terrific honor, and I simply can’t imagine that my first professionally-published piece could actually win – but this is genuinely one of those cases where it’s an honor just to be nominated.
I am humbled, and blown away, and utterly astounded. It seems so puny to say “thank you” to the team at Darkhouse – but, THANK YOU! And my congratulations to the other Darkhouse nominees!!!
